Mark Cuban was not in a good place on Wednesday when Luka Doncic returned to Dallas for the first time as a visiting player.
With Cuban in attendance, Doncic and his Los Angeles Lakers took on the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Doncic took his revenge game seriously, pouring in a game-high 45 points on 16/28 shooting to go along with 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals.
Cuban had to watch every second of Doncic’s spirited performance. The former Mavs principal owner looked visibly upset whenever cameras captured his reactions throughout the night.

The big night from Doncic helped the Lakers cruise to a 112-97 win over the Mavericks.
With the game all but decided in the final minute, the crowd started calling for Mavs GM Nico Harrison to be fired. Cuban appeared to be quietly furious as he shook his head in disapproval.

Wednesday’s game was especially emotional for Doncic himself. The Mavericks’ former franchise cornerstone fought back tears while the team flashed a tribute video for him in his return.
