Markelle Fultz continues to struggle on free throws
The free throw problems that haunted Markelle Fultz in the preseason continued to affect the No. 1 pick in his NBA debut on Wednesday night.
Fultz went to the line for two free throws during the first quarter of the Philadelphia 76ers’ opener against the Washington Wizards. He missed both of his attempts. What was even more concerning was his ugly form.

Fultz recently admitted that his shoulder injuries are the reason why he has altered his shot.
Fultz asked about connection btwn shoulder/shot:“My shoulder is the main reason why my shot’s doing that.”Reiterated not using it as excuse.

Philly might have to consider other options with Fultz, because his form at the free throw line is clearly becoming a problem. For perspective, he shot 65 percent on free throws in college — not a good number for a guard, but certainly more respectable than what he’s done with the Sixers.
