Most people know Matt Bonner as a three-point shooting specialist for the Spurs. Over the weekend, Bonner took the stage at a music festival in New Hampshire as DJ Red Mamba.
Bonner, a native of Concord, returned as the city celebrated its 250th birthday. There were events throughout the week, including the Rock On Festival on Saturday. The event hosted indie rock bands, local vendors, and a Midsummer Hoops Classic. Matt’s brother, Luke, was also on hand to see Matt rocking a mask, red mamba shirt, and cape on stage.
Kobe Bryant dubbed Bonner the Red Mamba a couple of years ago on Twitter, so we have him to thank for the alter ego Bonner has fully embraced. As for Bonner’s DJ skills, an iPad can be thanked for those.
