Michael Porter reportedly gets clean MRI after having hip spasms
Michael Porter Jr. had to cancel his scheduled Friday workout with NBA teams after he experienced back spasms, but the injury is apparently not a serious one.
Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports that Porter underwent an MRI on his hip that came back clean, and he may end up rescheduling his second Pro Day.
Teams have been informed that Michael Porter Jr. is feeling better and MRI returned clean, with "positive review," league sources told Yahoo. Workout assessment could be rescheduled on Friday, sources said, but decision likely comes later today. https://t.co/bUkiFyQMkq

Porter played in only parts of three games at Missouri last season after he injured his back in the first game and underwent surgery, so any injury for him leading up to next week’s NBA Draft is cause for concern. A report this week indicated Porter could go as high as No. 2, so the clean MRI is certainly good news for his draft stock.
