NBA outlines new practice guidelines in memo
The NBA is offering teams some guidance on how individual players can get back to practicing at team facilities.
In a memo sent to teams, the league said Monday that teams will soon be allowed to open practice facilities to players if they are in cities where stay-at-home restrictions have been eased. No more than four players would be allowed per facility at a time.
The league will not allow this any earlier than May 8, and it could be later depending on how things go.

This comes on the heels of reports that the league’s original May 1 plan was not well-received by many teams. It remains to be seen how this one will go over, but there is definitely some heavy skepticism throughout the league that things can be accelerated this soon.
