The NBA on Thursday announced discipline for Patrick Beverley over his ball-throwing and media incidents.
The NBA said that Beverley would be suspended four games without pay over the issues. In their announcement, the league said Beverley’s suspension was for throwing a ball forcefully at spectators multiple times. The announcement also mentioned an inappropriate interaction with a reporter during media availability.

Beverley threw a ball at a fan who was behind the Milwaukee Bucks’ bench during Game 6 of the team’s series-ending loss to the Indiana Pacers. After his team’s loss, Beverley wouldn’t take questions from an ESPN reporter.
Police in Indianapolis are investigating the ball-throwing incident.
In his podcast, Beverley described his own actions as “inexcusable.” He is set to be a free agent this offseason.
