NCAA and NBA indefinitely postpone draft withdrawl date
Major dates on the NBA’s offseason calendar continue to be pushed back due to the uncertainty over the resumption of the season.
The June 3 deadline for prospects to withdraw from the NBA Draft has been postponed indefinitely by both the NBA and NCAA, as first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
This doesn’t come as a surprise as the rest of the offseason calendar is in flux. The draft lottery, which would have been next Tuesday in Chicago, has been postponed. The NBA Combine has as well, with the league looking at a possible virtual combine instead.
As it stands, the June 25 NBA Draft has not been officially postponed. However, with everything around it being pushed back, it seems only a matter of time before that happens.
