Nene Hilario was ejected from Monday’s Game 1 of the Spurs-Rockets series after involving himself in an altercation.
Nene stepped in after the Spurs’ Dewayne Dedmon went head-to-head with James Harden before the start of the fourth quarter. Nene separated Dedmon from Harden and did so by extending his arm to the throat of Dedmon.

The officials reviewed video of the incident and ejected Nene from the game.
Harden and Dedmon received technicals.
The visiting Rockets were leading 96-67 at the time of the altercation, which will likely draw attention from the league office after the game.
