Nets taunt Sixers on Twitter during win
The Brooklyn Nets may be one of the worst teams in the NBA, but you wouldn’t know it based on their social media team.
During a game between the Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers in Brooklyn on Wednesday, chants in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles, who are in this year’s Super Bowl, broke out at the Barclays Center. For their part, the Sixers gleefully pointed it out multiple times on their official Twitter account.
We're 8 minutes and 5 E-A-G-L-E-S @Eagles chants into this one in Brooklyn.
26-21, us.

2 minutes and 2 E-A-G-L-E-S @Eagles chants into the second half.
67, all.

By the second time, it was the Nets’ turn to savagely clap back with this tweet.
We only heard the L https://t.co/D9b05MdAwu

Wouldn’t you know it, the Nets would back up their smack talk and deliver that L to Philly, winning by the final of 116-108. We probably know of one Net who was particularly happy to see them do the Sixers like that as well.
