Mike Malone was in a good mood after his Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
The Nuggets improved their record to 14-7 thanks to a resounding 117-85 victory at the Pepsi Center. The win continued what has been an impressive trend of Denver defending their home court so far this season, as they’re 9-3 at home.
Following the win over the Lakers, Malone talked about opposing fans coming into Pepsi Center and dropped a hilarious line about sending them home with losses.

Malone just gave one of my favorite quotes I’ve heard since covering this team. Regarding the Lakers fans in attendance: pic.twitter.com/gQYAQAXnki

So far this season, the Nuggets have defeated the Warriors, Pelicans, Jazz, Celtics, Timberwolves, Thunder, and now the Lakers at home. If Malone has his way, there will be a lot more fans of opposing teams leaving Denver with an “L” this season.
