Nuggets’ Jamal Murray in walking boot after rolling ankle
Jamal Murray was in a walking boot after the Denver Nuggets’ shellacking of the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.
Murray scored 13 points in 23 minutes as Denver cruised over Phoenix 132-95. He was subbed out for Monte Morris after rolling his ankle during the game and exited.
Denver coach Michael Malone said after the game that Murray was in a walking boot, according to Nuggets reporter Harrison Wind.
Michael Malone says postgame that Jamal Murray (ankle) is in a walking boot but he could have come back in if Denver needed him to tonight.

Malone did say if they needed him, Murray could have finished the game, so apparently the injury is not too serious.
Murray did hurt his ankle last month but scored 48 points in his next game, so maybe history will repeat itself. The 21-year-old guard is averaging 18.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this season.
