Russell Westbrook has become everyone’s favorite punching bag this season, and even one of his old rivals couldn’t resist taking a shot.
Patrick Beverley took a shot at Westbrook over Twitter on Thursday morning. Beverley referenced Westbrook’s 2019 quote about Beverley.
Westbrook said at the time that Beverley’s defensive reputation was overblown and that PatBev mostly just runs around and has people fooled.
Beverley decided to go “scoreboard” on Westbrook on Thursday.

You know Beverley had that one saved up for a while and ready to go.
Westbrook has struggled this season. He has been benched at the end of games, and his Lakers are 26-30, which is lower in the standings than Beverley’s Minnesota Timberwolves. On top of all that, Westbrook was mentioned in trade rumors.
Beverley is probably loving his revenge.
