The Philadelphia 76ers really cannot catch a break this season.
Paul George exited the team’s game at the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday with a hyperextended left knee. The injury occurred when George collided with an opponent while going for a rebound early in the third quarter.
You can see that George’s left knee bent the wrong direction after the contact.

This is a repeat of sorts for George and the Sixers. George missed five games to start the season with a left knee bone bruise. Now he has reinjured the same knee.
George had just 2 points in 17 minutes before getting hurt. He entered Wednesday’s game averaging 16.7 points on 39.6 percent shooting in 7 contests. Philly entered the game as one of the most disappointing teams in the league at 2-11.
