The Detroit Pistons may find themselves with a point guard problem.

Reggie Jackson, who did not practice Tuesday with what was described as knee tendinitis, reportedly may have a serious issue and miss the start of the season, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.

Today's hot rumble: Hearing Detroit, fearing Reggie Jackson may miss extended time to start the season, will explore the point guard market.

— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) October 5, 2016

This would be a big blow for a Detroit team that has dared to be optimistic after finally finding its way back into the playoffs last season, even if it ended badly for him and his team. Ish Smith is the obvious in-house replacement if Jackson misses time, but depending on how significant the issue is, the team may do well to get an upgrade.
