Rockets may hold Chris Paul out on back-to-back games
The Houston Rockets are pleased to have Chris Paul back in the mix, but they’re not going to go overboard with him at first.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said on Friday that CP3 will probably sit out Saturday’s game against Utah because the team is hesitant to have him play games on consecutive days.
Rockets guard Chris Paul will "probably" sit out Saturday night in Utah, coach Mike D'Antoni said. Houston is hesitant to have Paul play both ends of back-to-backs, particularly so soon after returning from a hamstring strain.

Paul missed 17 games with a hamstring injury and finally returned to action on Sunday. Friday’s game at Denver marked his third since returning. Houston has gone 1-1 since he’s been back.
For the season, the 34-year-old point guard is averaging 15.3 points, 8.0 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
