Seth Curry out indefinitely with leg injury
Seth Curry became a major contributor for the first time in his NBA career last year with the Dallas Mavericks, but it sounds like the team will have to begin the upcoming season without him.
Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reported Saturday that the Mavericks told him Curry suffered a stress reaction in his left tibia and is out indefinitely.
Per @MavsPR, Seth Curry has been diagnosed with a stress reaction of his left tibia. No timetable has been set for his return.

A stress reaction is the step before a stress fracture, so there is probably some question about how quickly Curry will heal.
Curry appeared in 70 games for the Mavs last season and started 42 of them. He averaged career-highs across the board with 12.8 points, 2.7 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game while playing an average of 29.0 minutes. Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said at this time last year that he was expecting big things from Curry, so the news is obviously very disappointing for the team.
