Smush Parker: Twitter account bashing Kobe is not mine

Smush Parker may have a negative history with Kobe Bryant, but the former Los Angeles Laker insists the Twitter account bearing his name that is bashing Kobe does not belong to him.

A Twitter account with the handle “@smushparker” sent a few tweets aimed at Kobe early Wednesday that went viral.

The tweets were the first ones sent from the account since 2014, making them highly suspicious. Only 109 tweets have been sent from the account total, and the account only has 607 followers — a very low amount for a former NBA player.

Unsurprisingly, Smush told TMZ Sports the account is not his.

“Its definitely not mines. I would love to have that account deactivated,” he said.

We tend to believe Parker. Not only does the account look fake, but as we’ve seen in the past, Parker has not problem speaking negatively about Kobe and attaching his name to the comments, as he did during this 2012 interview.

Parker spent five seasons in the NBA, including two with the Lakers from 2005-2007 when he teamed with Bryant.
