The San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder even loathe each other during the offseason.
Spurs guard Devin Vassell appeared this weekend at his basketball camp at Wagner High School in San Antonio, Texas. During a Q&A session on Saturday, one young camper asked Vassell who his least favorite player on the Thunder was.
Vassell joked that the question was “ragebait” but proceeded to give his answer — all of the players on the Thunder.
“It’s all of them,” said Vassell. “We don’t like OKC over here.”

The Spurs and the Thunder indeed have one of the fiercest rivalries in the NBA today. They were the two top teams in the Western Conference last season and met during the 2026 Western Conference Finals (with San Antonio ultimately prevailing in seven games).
Vassell, 25, is the starting shooting guard for the Spurs and averaged 13.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game last season on 44/38/82 shooting splits. While Vassell could have just no-commented the camper’s question, he was definitely happy to get his digs in there (especially after being at the center of a heated confrontation with the Thunder during that 2026 WCF series).
