Stephen Curry can’t be bothered by the chaotic noise of the NBA’s trade rumor mill.

On Wednesday, the basketball world was shaken by the news of the Milwaukee Bucks’ willingness to hear trade offers for superstar power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

As one of the teams often linked to the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, the Warriors can expect to hear their name mentioned in even more trade speculations involving Antetokounmpo going forward.

But as far as Curry is concerned, trade rumors are all sidelights. It is still all about winning on the court for the four-time NBA champion, who is still chasing another ring.

“(I’m) not ignorant to what’s going on in the league. Rumors and trade talk and who is on the block. I know what’s going on, but right now it’s about trying to win,” the four-time NBA champion said in the postgame press conference following Golden State’s 140-124 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, via Anthony Slater of ESPN.

The Warriors are a team to watch heading into the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline, but it’s not a date the 37-year-old Curry has circled on his calendar.

“I don’t ever get into hypotheticals. It’s a waste of time, it’s a waste of energy. It’s not my job to do that,” the future Basketball Hall of Famer stressed.

As for his main job, Curry dropped 27 points on the Jazz to lead all scorers in the game. He shot 7-for-14, including 4 three-pointers, in 28 minutes of action.
