Report: Tacko Fall to work out for Knicks

Tacko Fall

The NBA’s interest in 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall appears to be legit.

Marc Berman of the New York Post reported on Sunday that the ex-UCF star will be among a group of several players working out for the New York Knicks this week. Berman adds that, though the Knicks are concerned about how Fall will handle high pick-and-rolls, they see him as a potential lane-disrupter.

The 23-year-old Fall popped eyeballs at the NBA Draft Combine this month, clocking in with an 8-foot-2 wingspan and a 10-foot-2 standing reach, which were both all-time records. He also flashed some surprising nimbleness during lane agility drills.

In addition to having the No. 3 overall pick in next month’s draft, the Knicks also hold the No. 55 pick, which may be closer to the range that Fall lands in. With his strong showing at the combine, the Senegalese big man seems to be well on his way to proving that he is much more than just a viral sensation.
