The story of the Los Angeles Clippers-Houston Rockets postgame scuffle apparently involved a case of mistaken identity.
Initially, one of the most amusing portions of the story of the locker room confrontation was that, allegedly, Rockets center Clint Capela had knocked on the Clippers’ locker room door as a diversion so other Rockets players could enter through the back. Apparently, it was not Capela but Tarik Black who knocked on the door, and there is no evidence that it was a planned diversionary tactic, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

Sadly, the fact that this wasn’t all part of the plan makes the story just a tiny bit less fun, but not that much. Maybe it’s an idea for future locker room infiltration efforts.
