Terry Stotts believes the Warriors will break the regular season wins record
Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts has seen enough of the Golden State Warriors to believe that they’re going to win 73 games.
Speaking after his team lost 128-108 to the juggernaut Warriors, Stotts said that he believed the Warriors would surpass the 1995-96 Bulls team that went 72-10.

Golden State sits at 34-2, so they’re well on pace to obliterate the record. That said, there’s still over half the season to go, and the two losses have come in the last 12 games. Injuries have been a factor, which Klay Thompson blamed for at least the first defeat. Still, the Warriors are making more and more people believe that this record is within their reach. Stotts is just the latest to say so.
