Torrey Craig suffers broken nose after taking shot to face
Torrey Craig suffered a broken nose after taking a shot to the face during Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals series between his Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.
In the first minute of the second quarter, Rodney Hood was shooting free throws. Craig went for a rebound on a miss and collided with Zach Collins. He then landed on a teammate’s leg.

Trainers had to hold a towel to Craig’s face because he was bleeding so much. He was able to walk off the floor on his own, but he went straight into the locker room.
Torrey Craig left the game with a nasal contusion after a shot to the face from Collins. He is questionable to return.
Lots of blood on the floor. Remember, Craig has had broken nose issues in the past, has even worn a mask to protect it at times.

The second-year forward has been a key player for the Nuggets in the postseason, picking up big minutes since Game 4 of the series against San Antonio. He is a good defender and had been helping with defense on Damian Lillard. For the postseason, he’s averaged 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
