Like most everyone associated with the Philadelphia 76ers, Tyrese Maxey is hyped about LeBron James’ decision.
Maxey was in the gym when news broke that James was signing with the team. He quickly shared a video of himself screaming excitedly as his workout was interrupted by the breaking news.

Maxey can take a good deal of credit for James’ decision. The two are Klutch Sports clients, and Maxey was one of the most aggressive in recruiting James. James’ previous ties to Maxey may have even helped the Sixers get their foot in the door.
James stunned the NBA world on Friday by opting to join the 76ers instead of returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers or Miami Heat. The move immediately makes them among the favorites in the Eastern Conference, along with the addition of Jaylen Brown earlier in the offseason.
Maxey averaged 28.3 points per game last season. That may drop with James taking on some of the workload, but it is a sacrifice he is certainly willing to make.
