Tyronn Lue seems pretty confident he can improve on David Blatt’s work.
Lue offered up a rather eyebrow-raising response in his first meeting with the media when asked what he’d do differently than his predecessor.

I have no doubt that this sounds more cutting than Lue intended it to, but yikes.
So what does Lue intend to do better?

This is completely logical, and it’s more aligned with the role that made Love a superstar in Minnesota.
Lue sounds like a confident man. Why wouldn’t he be? He knows the team, knows the league, and he may get to coach the All-Star Game pretty soon.
