Tyronn Lue jokes about Kyle Korver’s age after big Game 4
Kyle Korver is playing like a much younger man in the Eastern Conference Finals, to the point that it’s even surprising head coach Tyronn Lue.
The Cleveland Cavaliers tied their series against the Boston Celtics at 2-2 with a 111-102 win in Monday’s Game 4, one that saw Korver go for 14 points, four rebounds, and a game-high three blocks. After the contest, Lue shouted out his effort and speed for a 36-year-old. When told that Korver was actually 37, Lue joked that he was playing the veteran sharpshooter too many minutes.
Tyronn Lue on Kyle Korver: "Very rarely do you see a 36-year-old running full speed against Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier…"@Rachel__Nichols corrects Ty that Korver is actually 37.
Ty: "God. I'm playing him too many minutes."

The former All-Star Korver is up to 11.0 points on 57.7 percent from the field and and a fiery 47.4 percent from three for the series in spite of actually only playing a modest 22.3 minutes per game. The spacing he provides on offense and the savvy he offers on defense have made him an irreplaceable role player during Cleveland’s playoff run, especially considering what Lue has been preaching to his team lately.
