Report: V. Stiviano assaulted by two men in New York

Donald Sterling girlfriend V StivianoV. Stiviano was allegedly assaulted by two men outside a hotel in New York on Sunday night, according to her agent. Stiviano’s attorney Mac Nehoray told CNN that Stiviano was leaving a restaurant near the Ganesvoort Hotel with her sister and friends when two men followed her and began yelling racial slurs.

Nehoray claims the men punched Stiviano several times and left her with swelling and redness on the right side of her face. He also said she is likely to file a police report on Monday.

As you know, Stiviano is responsible for the audio recording that exposed Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling as a racist and resulted in him being banned from the NBA for life. But last week, TMZ released a video from 2011 that showed Stiviano making her own racist remarks about African-Americans.

“I don’t understand black people,” she said. “You give them a little bit of money, they don’t know what to do with it. [Black people] just act crazy … they’re like, ‘Yo, I wanna put extra rims on top of my rims. And my rims are gonna turn around. I’m gonna call them spinners.'”

Regardless of what Stiviano has said or done, she doesn’t deserve to be attacked. If the alleged incident actually took place as her lawyer said it did, there should be consequences for the men involved.
