Luka Doncic had a very Luka Doncic-like interaction with a heckler over the weekend.
Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers lost on Sunday during Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The defeat put the Lakers down 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.
Adding frustration for Doncic and the Lakers was the treatment that they received on the road. Video went viral on Monday of Doncic getting into it with a Timberwolves fan heckler during the contest.
The clip showed Doncic about to throw in the ball from a sideline out-of-bounds play. A fan could be heard yelling to Doncic, “You’re a grown man. You complain every play.”
When the fan then repeated the taunt, Doncic turned to him and said, “Shut the f–k up, p—y.”

The former NBA scoring champion Doncic does have history with Timberwolves fans. As a member of the Dallas Mavericks last year, Doncic downed Minnesota in the Western Conference Finals and got into it with the Target Center crowd during the games that were played there. During one of those games, a Timberwolves fan made a disrespectful gesture to Doncic, leading to Doncic producing a 20-point first-quarter explosion. Then when he returned to Minnesota early in the next regular season, Doncic again talked trash to Timberwolves fans after splashing a dagger shot.
Now the two sides are going at it once again. This time around though, it appears to be the Timberwolves’ turn for revenge as they are just one win away from eliminating Doncic and the Lakers from the playoffs.
