Video shows beloved performer Red Panda hurting herself in fall at Fever game

One of the most beloved performers in all of sports suffered an apparent injury in a fall during the Indiana Fever-Minnesota Lynx game on Tuesday.

The Fever and the Lynx met Tuesday for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The halftime performer for the game was famous unicyclist Red Panda.

Unfortunately though, the halftime show ended abruptly when Red Panda took a hard fall off her unicycle. Before she could even get into her full routine, Red Panda lost her balance and fell to the court, seemingly landing on her left wrist. She immediately clutched her wrist in pain and was attended to by medical personnel, ultimately having to be taken off the court in a wheelchair.

Here is the video of her fall.

Red Panda is a longtime fan favorite performer who has appeared on the shows “America’s Got Talent” and “Britain’s Got Talent.” She has since become a staple during halftime of NBA games and is now performing during WNBA games as well. Her act involves balancing on her unicycle, estimated at seven feet tall, and catching metal bowls that she throws onto her head using her free leg. A few years ago, Red Panda was even at the center of a heartwarming story involving the Golden State Warriors.

As with any acrobatic performer, Red Panda has had her share of falls over the years, including one during the NBA Finals that she was able to largely brush off. But that fall on Tuesday during the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup may unfortunately have been the hardest one we have seen Red Panda take yet.
