Video: Trae Young hit insanely deep 3-pointer against 76ers

Trae Young deep

Trae Young has arguably been the MVP of the early portion of the NBA playoffs, and the Atlanta Hawks stayed hot in Game 1 of his team’s series against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

Young had 25 points in the first half against Philly after averaging nearly 30 points per game in Atlanta’s opening-round series against the New York Knicks. One of the shots Young hit against the Sixers came from about eight feet beyond the arc. Here’s the video:

Young’s impressive play is the main reason the Hawks made fairly quick work of the Knicks in the first round. He’s one of the best scorers in the NBA, and he has elevated his game for the playoffs.

Young seemed to have a lot of fun shutting Knicks fans up (video here), and he may be well on his way to doing the same in another hostile city.
