Video: Trevor Ariza ejected after complaining about no-call

Trevor Ariza ejected

Trevor Ariza was ejected from Friday night’s Portland Trail Blazers-Utah Jazz game after getting upset about a no-call.

Ariza was driving to the basket early in the second quarter and thought he was fouled by Rudy Gobert when going up for a shot. Ariza did not receive a foul call and went after the official to complain. He immediately was called for a technical foul and then chased down the official. Ariza seemed to get close to making contact with the referee.

Ariza had two points in nine minutes prior to his exit. Portland was shorthanded without Nassir Little and Hassan Whiteside available, so Ariza’s ejection put the team in a bad spot.

The Trail Blazers have gone 5-2 since acquiring Ariza in a trade with Sacramento.
