Report: Vinny Del Negro to interview with Rockets
Who would have possibly thought that Vinny Del Negro would get another chance to coach in the NBA in 2016?
According to a report by Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee on Wednesday, Del Negro, who is also said to be one of the innumerable candidates for the Kings’ head coaching job, is also expected to interview with the Houston Rockets.
Kings coaching candidate Vinny Del Negro is expected to interview with the Houston Rockets at some point, too.

The 49-year-old Del Negro holds a respectable 210-184 (.533) record in five seasons as a head coach, including stints with both the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers. He also made four playoff appearances over that span.
But Del Negro is not too well-regarded in the basketball world thanks in large part to his head-scratching rotations and bland, antiquated style of coaching.
The Rockets don’t appear to be content with bestowing interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff with the long-term coaching duties. But if Del Negro is the best alternative they can get right now, they should probably keep searching for a little while longer.
