The Golden State Warriors may bring back a face from the past to help in their playoff run.
According to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area, the Warriors are interested in guard Marco Belinelli, who was waived by the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
The Warriors are reportedly looking for more options off the bench who can shoot the three, and Belinelli would fit the bill. He’s a career 37.7 percent free throw shooter over his 11-year career.
Belinelli broke into the NBA with the Warriors a decade ago, spending his first two seasons with the team.
The Warriors had been interested in Joe Johnson, but he’s headed to the Houston Rockets. Belinelli isn’t a bad backup plan.
