Klay Thompson exited Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night after hurting his leg in a collision with JR Smith.
Smith was trying to close on Thompson while playing defense midway through the first quarter when he slipped and fell into Thompson. He knocked into the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter in the back of the leg.

Thompson left the game and was seen being taken into the locker room for examination.
After crashing into Thompson, Smith was immediately apologetic and reached out to check on Klay’s status, indicating he did not hurt his opponent intentionally.
