They say with sports that you tune in because you might see something you’ve never seen before. What happened on Friday night in Minneapolis was something most fans have never before seen.
Boxer Curtis Harper was all ready for his heavyweight fight against Efe Ajagba, but as soon as the bell rang for the start of Round 1, he exited the ring.
Well that's a new one…

Harper’s shocking actions led to speculation that he was scared to fight, but he later shared some clarity about the matter. Harper told Premiere Boxing Champions’ Jordan Hardy that he was not getting paid enough to fight.
If y’all are wondering I spoke to Harper and he said he walked out of the ring because he’s not getting paid enough to fight and that he wants respect. #AjagbaHarper #PBConFS1

Harper entered the fight 13-5 but dropped to 13-6 after his loss by disqualification. Ajagba, a 24-year-old Nigerian, was 5-0 entering the fight with five knockouts. He improves to 6-0 but loses his perfect knockout to victory ratio. That had to have been the easiest win of his career.
