AJ Allmendinger went on an all-time rant Sunday during the AdventHealth 400 after his engine gave out just seven laps into the race.
Allmendinger lost his engine very early in the race at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Ks. That prompted an animated rant against ECR Engines, his engine manufacturer, that was caught on his radio.
“Hey ECR, you guys f—ing suck,” Allmendinger said over the radio.

Allmendinger was not finished there. According to Jeff Gluck of The Athletic, the driver could still be heard screaming f-bombs through his in-car, even though he was no longer even on the radio.
Allmendinger certainly had reason to be frustrated. He entered Sunday 20th in the season standings, and needs a top-16 finish to qualify for the playoffs. Losing his engine so early in a race will have big ramifications in the points standings, and will make qualification much more difficult for him.
Ultimately, Allmendinger might have to answer to his manufacturer over his little rant. On the other hand, they might have to answer to him considering how quickly the engine failed him.
