Tyler Reddick was ticked off at Ty Gibbs during Sunday’s Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia.
Gibbs was running 11th on Lap 298 and cut the corner a little too close on Turn 2 at the short track. He made contact with Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing before being spun around.

Reddick was ticked off after that contact.
“Keep me away from that little f–ker after the race,” Reddick was heard saying over his radio.

"Free this f****** thing up. It doesn't roll the center at all. Keep me away from that little f***** after the race, too."#NASCAR
Caution came out after Gibbs was spun around.
Despite the contact, both drivers were able to regroup. Gibbs’ No. 54 Toyota Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing finished 13th, and Reddick finished 14th in the race.
After the race ended, Reddick stayed true to his word. He approached Gibbs, and their talk seemed to be pleasant.

Gibbs is in his third season as a full-time Cup Series driver. His 13th-place finish at Martinsville was his best of the season. Reddick has three top-10 finishes this season, so this was his fourth-best finish of the year.
