Report: Andrew Nembhard transferring from Florida

Florida Gators

A very talented point guard is looking for a new home and preparing to enter the transfer portal, according to a report.

Jeff Goodman of Stadium reported Saturday that Florida point guard Andrew Nembhard intends to withdraw from the NBA Draft and transfer. The former five-star recruit would have two years of eligibility remaining.

Nembhard was the 28th overall prospect in the 2018 ESPN 100 recruiting rankings and has two years of experience as a starter at a top program. That alone makes him an appealing transfer target for a lot of top schools.

The point guard will likely have to sit out a season, but with two more years of eligibility, he should be in high demand on the transfer market.
