With the NBA schedule not resuming until Thursday from the all-star break, James Harden made his way back to Arizona State for Wednesday’s game against UCLA. While he was there, Harden received a special honor.
The Sun Devils retired Harden’s No. 13 jersey, raising it to the rafters of Wells Fargo Arena. The Rockets star spent two seasons at Arizona State, earning First Team All-American honors and winning the Pac-10 Player of the Year Award in his final season.

Harden has since been named the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year, made three all-star teams, and currently leads the NBA in scoring at 27.4 points per game. He’s also building a substantial case to be this season’s league MVP.
If you don’t remember Harden at Arizona State, here are a few highlights.
