Loyola Chicago’s Donte Ingram makes first buzzer-beater of NCAA Tournament
It only took six games, but we finally got our first buzzer-beater of the NCAA Tournament.
Loyola Chicago’s Donte Ingram made a three-pointer with 0.3 seconds left in the Ramblers’ first-round game against Miami on Thursday to give his team the win. The Ramblers were down 62-61 to the Hurricanes when Lonnie Walker IV missed the front end of a 1-and-1. Loyola Chicago got the rebound, dribbled up the court with under 10 seconds left, and gave the ball to Ingram. He fired a deep three pointer to win it.
