Blue chip Kentucky freshman Malik Monk is a native of Arkansas and was heavily recruited by the school, and apparently his decision to reject them has left at least one Razorbacks assistant rather bitter.
Monk was heckled during warmups by Arkansas assistant coach Matt Zimmerman prior to Sunday’s SEC championship game between the two schools.

"We in the same place as him. He had to go to Kentucky to get here." Monk finally responded: "I got something for you." https://t.co/Elo4bexV1f

It’s pretty stupid that an assistant coach would try to get into a kid’s head like this. It didn’t even work, as Kentucky got out to a double-digit halftime lead with the freshman serving as one of the team’s top scorers. Sure, you can understand that Arkansas is probably frustrated and annoyed that such a huge talent got away from them, but it’s pretty dumb and petty to taunt him over his school choice.
