Marques Townes deals with cramps in Final Four game
Marques Townes briefly exited Saturday’s Final Four game against Michigan with cramping in his leg.
Townes attempted and missed a 3-pointer with around eight minutes left in the game and went down to the ground. The Loyola Chicago guard exited the game briefly due to what Turner Sports termed cramping. After hydrating on the bench, Townes re-entered the game a few minutes later.
Townes had eight points and seven rebounds for the Ramblers before his exit. His cramping issues came at the same time that Michigan began to make its comeback and eventually take the lead late in the second half.
