One glob of saliva instantly made a Michigan student manager public enemy number one in East Lansing.
A clip of a Wolverines student manager allegedly spitting on the Michigan State Spartans’ center court logo at Breslin Center went viral on Friday, hours before the two teams faced off on the same floor.
You can watch the clip below.
Of course Michigan’s student manager spit on the Spartan logo at midcourt. The entire athletic department is full of cheaters and scumbags and they prove it time after time after time pic.twitter.com/xcKcTjbPQf

The student manager could be seen staring at the logo as he dribbled toward the half-court line. While the video isn’t in high definition, the staffer’s head appeared to jerk for a brief moment as he hovered over the logo, which looked like him expelling some spit.
According to college hoops reporter Scott Hughes, Michigan sent the student manager back to Ann Arbor before Friday’s game tipped off. It remains unclear whether the move was an act of punishment or was done as a precaution for safety reasons.
Fans from both sides of the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry argued online about whether or not the student did actually spit on the logo. Save for the student’s outright confession, it’s hard to prove anything one way or the other.
Michigan State was not able to exact revenge on the court. The No. 7 Spartans lost to the No. 3 Wolverines 83-71, snapping a four-game winning streak over their state rivals. Michigan senior Yaxel Lendeborg led the way with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
The sporting world has seen a lot of spit-related incidents over the past year. Add this one to the growing list.
