Report: Sean Miller targeted to return to former school as head coach
Sean Miller has a chance to return to the coaching ranks roughly a year after he was fired by the Arizona Wildcats.
Miller is being targeted by Xavier, where he first became a head coach, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. Miller is also being eyed by South Carolina, which is looking for a replacement for Frank Martin.
Sources: Xavier is targeting Sean Miller to return as the school's next head basketball coach.
The two sides met on Friday.
Miller has also been prioritized by South Carolina to fill its head coaching vacancy.

Miller maintained Xavier as one of the most powerful mid-major schools in the country, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2008. He went 120-47 in five seasons there before moving to Arizona in 2009.
There was some speculation that Miller would jump to the NBA after being fired by Arizona, but that never happened. Miller was tied to the federal investigation of college basketball, so Xavier might have to sort through those issues if it wants to bring him back.
