Twitter reacts to NC State scoring 24 points against Virginia Tech
The NC State Wolfpack set an unwanted record on Saturday, scoring just 24 points — the fewest ever in one game in the shot clock era.
The Wolfpack scored just 14 points in the first half and ten in the second, connecting on just nine field goals and going 2-of-27 from three-point range. Naturally, a performance that awful gained Twitter’s attention quickly.
Zion Williamson today: 29 points.
NC State today: 24 points.

Did Tre Jones defend all of NC State as well?

I’ve never seen a whole team shoot so bad. NC State did so bad I’m actually impressed https://t.co/SPKCqdVgUQ

The #Hokies Defensive Efficiency jumped up from No. 54 to No. 16 after holding NC State to 24 points today per KenPom. That’s insane.

Kudos to Virginia Tech, but it seemed almost impossible to believe that an entire team could shoot that badly. The Wolfpack apparently proved that it wasn’t as impossible as it seemed.
