
DeJon Jarreau was ejected from the Houston Cougars’ 64-62 loss to the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday after referees determined he bit two opponents.
Jarreau was diving for a loose ball in the second half and allegedly bit Keith Williams in the leg. Jarreau then allegedly bit Mamoudou Diarra.

The Athletic’s Justin Williams reports that both players said they were bit by Jarreau.
On the biting ejection: Multiple sources said afterward that both Keith Williams and Mamoudou Diarra said they were bit by Houston’s DeJon Jarreau. Not sure if one weighed heavier in the officials decision, or if there will be any further repercussions. #Bearcats

In his postgame press conference, Houston head coach Kelvin Sampson denied that Jarreau bit his opponents. Sampson said he reviewed the film multiple times before coming to his conclusion.

Jarreau had five points, four rebounds and six assists prior to his ejection. Houston is now 17-5. Both they and the Bearcats have 7-2 records in AAC play.
