Virginia’s De’Andre Hunter out for tournament with broken wrist
The Virginia Cavaliers will be a man down in the NCAA Tournament.
The school announced on Tuesday that ACC Sixth Man of the Year De’Andre Hunter will miss the NCAA Tournament due to a broken wrist.
Hunter suffered the injury in the ACC Tournament, which Virginia won. He is expected to undergo surgery on Monday and miss 10-12 weeks.
Hunter was averaging 9.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game for the Hoos.
