Will Wade accused of paying hush money to player’s fiancee
Will Wade has been fired by LSU as the school received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA regarding violations they supposedly committed. The Notice of Allegations covers some violations allegedly committed by both the football and basketball programs.
One of the more interesting allegations is that Wade is accused of paying hush money to the fiancee of a player. The allegation states that in 2017, Wade made cash payments to the former fiancee of an LSU player in order to keep her silent about payments she learned were made to other players. The woman appeared to keep stretching Wade for more and more money.
More allegations tied to Will Wade. "Violated the principles of ethical conduct and provided impermissible cash payments to the former fiancée of a student-athlete in order to buy her silence regarding prior and current impermissible inducements to student-athletes…" pic.twitter.com/Ypk9qxCA1k
