Willie Cauley-Stein trill

Willie Cauley-Stein is officially trill. And we mean that literally and figuratively.

The former Kentucky center was born Willie Durmond Cauley Jr. but goes by Cauley-Stein to honor his mother, Marlene Stein. He went to the Probate Division of the Fayette District Court to legally change his last name to Cauley-Stein last week and decided to add “Trill” to his name while he was there, Kentucky.com reports.

Cauley-Stein’s new legal name is: Willie Trill Cauley-Stein.

And for those who do not know what “trill” means, we have the invaluable Urban Dictionary to fill us in:

An adjective used in hip-hop culture to describe someone who is considered to be well respected, coming from a combination of the words “true” and “real”.

My only question is whether Kenny Hill is going to be jealous of Cauley-Stein for beating him to it.
