The Michigan Wolverines became the first team to advance to the Sweet 16 thanks to a dominant performance by Yaxel Lendeborg, and it may have earned him a new nickname.
Lendeborg threw down an explosive dunk during the second half of Saturday’s win over Saint Louis at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y. He ran the length of the court and blasted past multiple Saint Louis players on his way to the jam.

Michigan guard Nimari Burnett said the play reminded him of someone else.
“Dominican LeBron,” Burnett said.
One can definitely see the resemblance with how explosive the play was. That one might catch on.
Lendeborg was dominant in Saturday’s win. He scored 25 points, including 3-for-5 from three, as the Wolverines won 95-72. They will head to Chicago, where they will face off against the winner of Sunday’s game between Texas Tech and Alabama.
